Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

What are the lease terms?

6-12 month leases as available.

Are utilities included in the cost?

Utilities are separate. Power/heat is through PSE and you pay them directly. W/S/G is one bill that you pay monthly with your rent and is calculated by the number of people in your home.

What's your pet policy?

We are pet friendly allowing a maximum of 2 pets per home. For more details please contact us.

What is your guest policy?

Guests are allowed to visit and park in designated guest parking spaces. Guests may not stay longer than 14 days without applying to be added to the lease.

Do you require apartment renters insurance?

We require $100,000 of liability insurance. We do not require insurance on your personal items.

How do I pay the rent?

You may pay rent via online or by check or money order to the office. NO cash is accepted.

How are repairs taken care of, especially in an emergency?

Maintenance is on call for emergencies 24 hrs per day. Standard service requests are completed in order received and as quickly as possible.

Is there public transportation nearby?

There is a shopper shuttle just outside the community and we are close to the bus line.

How often does rent go up? By how much?

Residents are given a minimum of 60 days written notice prior to the end of their term if there are any changes to the rental amounts offered once their lease ends.

What is the parking situation?

Parking is by permit only on the community.

Are there plans to update the building?

None at this time.

Is there a penalty for breaking my lease?

Yes.
